October 23, 2019, Appointing a western senator to cabinet would be 'counterproductive', independent senator warns -
Sen. Yuen Pau Woo says it would run counter to the Trudeau government's pursuit of a non-partisan Red Chamber!
"That would be a departure from what the prime minister has said was his plan for the Senate, i.e., that senators are independent, that they do not represent the government, [that] they are not part of the government," Sen. Yuen Pau Woo said Tuesday October 23, 2019.
The senate is not constitutionally an extension of parliament and its remunerated classes of subjects referred to as “persons”.
The senate as a true nonpartisan body are my government, the government of the indigenous people in bijural Canada. Indigenous Definition used: Born in a particular territory.
The senate is not part of any elected government and no elected clown has the authority or jurisdiction to stack the senate with partisan politicians or dismantle the senate without the senates permission and approval!
That was before Trudeau started stacking the Senate with independently-selected appointees, whose job is to take the partisan taint out of the Red Chamber.
